The last few years have been incredibly challenging for all of us in the transportation industry. As this unprecedented year continues to change every aspect of our lives, we remain committed to providing exceptional service to all our business partners. We realize that we are all challenged in multiple ways in this environment. Our leadership team has taken significant steps to not only provide a safe and stable working environment but also a sustainable business model to meet the needs of our partners and staff.
• For Accelerated to continue providing each of you with the level of service that you have come to expect, we must address the line haul rates. This will not be a full GRI, but more specific to the regions of capacity and surging cost to do business including Chicago, the northeast region (IAD, BWI, JFK, EWR), and Los Angeles CA (LAX).
• Airline Accessorial Fee (AAF) Increase: $15 mini, $0.03/LB, and a cap of $55.00 will apply to any shipments recovering or delivering to the airlines.
• Ocean Import Storage fees will now begin after 4 days, instead of 5.
• Any other cargo, including Domestic, that is stored on our dock more that 3 days will also be subject to storage fees of $30.00 min and/or $4.00/cwt per day
